MicroLogix 1000 controllers are provided with minimum of 1KB memory that is comprised of approximately 737 instruction words and 437 data words. MicroLogix 1000 product family also offers a variety of controller with input channels capable of sourcing and sinking configuration and individual commons to provide channel isolation. Controller models that are powered by 24VDC power supply have built-in High- Speed input for use in applications that require counting, totalizing and simple motion applications. Controllers with analog capability feature an embedded 20 Discreet Input and Output channels with 4 analog inputs configurable for voltage and current and an Analog output that may be set for either Voltage and Current output as well. MicroLogix 1000 models include support for AC and DC power supply inputs while controllers include a 10, 16, 32-Point Discrete controllers.
Aside from this windows based programming software packages, MicroLogix 1000 Controllers may also be configured and programmed using Hand-Held Programmer (HHP) which supports addition of a memory module for mobile and convenient access to the controller’s user program. With this programming software, this controller complies with IEC61131-3 as it supports Ladder Programming Language.
The MicroLogix 1000 controller family is programmed using RSLogix 500 or RSLogix Micro programming software. This controller family features an integrated power supply, RS232 communication port, embedded discrete input and outputs with other controller provided with embedded analog input and output channels that support analog voltage and current signals. This controller family is ideal for use in industrial applications such as Factory and Process automation requirements.
